2 workers rescued from church steeple in Morristown

MORRISTOWN - Crews rescued two men today who were stuck for more than two hours in a construction bucket lodged against a church steeple in Morristown. The Newman Construction Company was beginning restoration work on the Morristown Methodist Church's steeple when the bucket got stuck about 120 feet up in the air with two workers in the bucket.

The men were saved by a massive boom that could reach higher than the 120-feet up, where the workers were. The compelling scene unfolded on the Morristown Green before hundreds of onlookers.
