2 Warren County teens die when truck falls into Delaware

POHATCONG - (AP) - Two teenagers were killed and a third was injured when their truck tumbled down an embankment into the Delaware River in northwestern New Jersey.

Pohatcong Police say 18-year-old Luke Bebe told them that he swerved to avoid a crash with another vehicle, lost control of his pickup and it fell into the Delaware River around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Bebe was able to climb out.

Two passengers, both from Alpha, were killed. Police say one is a 14-year-old whose name has not been released. The other is 19-year-old Jonathon Gercie.

Police say Bebe had fractured vertebrae and other injuries.
