2 shot, hurt on NJ Turnpike in apparent drive-by

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP - (AP) - State police say two men werewounded in what appears to be a drive-by shooting on the New JerseyTurnpike.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanesnear Interchange 6 in Burlington County. That's where the turnpikemeets the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

State Police Sgt. Francis Babinchock says the wounds are notlife-threatening.

Babinchock says troopers were trying to question a third man whowas in the vehicle and they're searching for a second vehicle.

Traffic is moving in the area.
