NEWARK - Two Newark teens are under arrest today, in connection with last Sunday's shooting death of a Newark store owner during a robbery.

Essex County prosecutors and Newark police said the 17-year-old boys were charged in the death of 41-year-old Joseph Flagg of Union.

Police said Flagg was a mentor for young people in the community and one of the suspects was someone he tried to help.

The suspect's names have not released because they are juveniles, but prosecutors said the state might seek to try them as adults.
