MORRISTOWN - Two former students at the Delbarton School announced today that they've filed a lawsuit against the institution claiming sexual abuse.

Brothers William and Thomas Crane say they were abused by two priests between 1977 and 1980.

Their lawsuit names Delbarton as well as St. Mary's Abbey, which runs the school. The suit doesn't name individuals as defendants, but the complaint names former headmaster Luke Travers and Rev. Justin Capato as those responsible for the alleged abuse.

Attorney Gregory Gianforcaro, of Phillipsburg, claims that the leadership at Delbarton School and St. Mary's Abbey should have known that the two former Benedictine monks were abusing students.

A spokesman for the abbey says it hasn't seen the lawsuit and wouldn't comment on a pending legal matter.
