2 men claim they were molested by NJ Catholic priest

LITTLE EGG HARBOR - Alleged victims who say they were molested by a Catholic priest held a press conference today at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Little Egg Harbor.

The alleged victims and their families say they want St. Theresa's Church and the diocese to strip Father Terence McAlinden of his title for molesting them. The group also says it wants to help spread awareness.

The Trenton Diocese released a statement saying that it is cooperating with the authorities and has offered to assist all abuse victims find counseling. The diocese also says that it has no record of any prior abuse allegations against McAlinden prior to 2007.
