PATERSON - Two people were killed after a shooting in an abandoned Paterson warehouse early Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. at 55 First Ave.

The Paterson Police Department have identified the two victims as Fernando D. Irby, 24, and Kashif Belfield, 26.

Authorities found a large group of around 30 people, apparently having a party in the warehouse. At some point, officials say shots were fired and the two men were both hit.

Irby and Belfield were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital but did not survive their injuries. Both men were Paterson residents.

Officials have not released any information about possible suspects or a motive. The investigation is ongoing.
