2 killed, 2 wounded in Paterson shooting

PATERSON - The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that four people were shot, two of them fatally, in Paterson early this morning.

According to authorities, the incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. at a 24-hour restaurant and gas station at Broadway and Summer Street.

Police say a large crowd had gathered at the location when someone opened fire, striking and killing Taheem Taylor and Dashon Adamson, both 22 years old and from Paterson.

A young man and woman were injured and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. Both are expected to survive.
