OCEAN TOWNSHIP - Ocean Township police are urging residents to keep their doors locked after two gunmen walked into a home in the Wanamassa section of town and robbed the residents.

The armed thieves walked into an unlocked Spruce Avenue home Sunday evening and demanded cash and electronics from the homeowners.

One of the elderly victims tells News 12 New Jersey that the thieves put her adult son in a headlock and jammed a gun in his ribs.

Both suspects are described as black men in their mid-20s. One is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and wore a hooded Champion sweatshirt.  The other is about 6 feet 3 inches tall and wore a black ski mask and dark clothing.

Anyone who might have any information about the robbery is asked to call Ocean Township police.
