CLINTON TOWNSHIP - A manhunt is on for two prisoners who escaped from a correctional facility in rural Hunterdon County.

Michael Bently, 23, and Corey Agostarola, 21, were housed at Mountainview Youth Correctional Facility in Annandale before being reported missing at 8 p.m. on Sunday night.

The state Department of Corrections would not say how the two men escaped.

DOC records show that Bentley was convicted on theft and burglary charges in Passaic County. Agostarola was convicted on burglary and gun charges in Camden County.

The two men were last seen by management at the Clinton Diner along Route 78, just five miles from the correctional facility.
