2 dead in Hillsborough house fire

HILLSBOROUGH - Authorities say two people died in a fire last night in Hillsborough.

Firefighters were called to the home on High Acre Drive at around 8 p.m. Fire crews went into the house and pulled out the two victims.

Neighbors say the two who lived in the home were Edward and Terry Kwiatek, believed to be in their 60s. They had lived there for more than 40 years.

It's unclear if they died at the scene or were taken to a hospital. The couple's dog also died in the fire.

The fire is not believed to be suspicious.
