EDISON - Two British teens have sparked outrage here in the United States over a Halloween costume.
The teens were featured on the front page of the Sun newspaper dressed as the Twin Towers during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Their costumes depicted explosions, flames and people leaping from the windows.
The newspaper reported that they won a “best dressed” award from the nightclub hosting a Halloween party.
The girls have since apologized for the stunt following sharp criticism.
