2 multi-family homes catch fire in Paterson

PATERSON - Fire officials say that 18 people were left without a place to live after a four-alarm fire badly damaged their home Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out in what fire officials described as a multistory duplex home on 16th Avenue in Paterson.

Officials tell News 12 New Jersey that one person was injured in the fire. Their condition was not immediately released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
