NEWARK - More than a dozen people are displaced and one firefighter is injured after a fire ripped through a house.

Fire officials say the flames started just after 5 a.m. at a three-story house on Nichols Street in Newark.

They say all 15 people inside made it out safely, but one firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Fire officials say neighboring homes also suffered some damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
