PATERSON - A two-alarm fire in Paterson has left 13 people without a home.

Firefighters were among the first to witness the smoke coming from the North 35th Street home. They reported the fire and quickly responded to the scene.

The flames ripped through the upper floors of the two-family home, leaving it severely damaged.

Three firefighters were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. One resident was treated at the scene for a breathing problem.
