JERSEY CITY - A three-month investigation has ended with the arrests of 13 people on charges of funneling cocaine from Puerto Rico to the streets of New Jersey and New York.

The Hudson County prosecutors office says the drugs were shipped by mail to various locations in New Jersey and New York and were then parceled out to dealers for distribution.

Authorities seized seven kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than a $1 million and more than $180,000.

Four of the suspects face at least 25 years in prison if convicted of being a leader of a narcotics trafficking network.
