The operation was a targeted crackdown in Paterson's Fourth Ward.
"It's a small population of individuals who are responsible for this activity," says Paterson Police Director Glen Brown. "But the bigger portion of this city has to suffer."
Police say the bust was so successful that they will be doing it again soon in another area of the city.
It was conducted in cooperation with the prosecutor's office, the DEA and the U.S. Marshals Service.
