NEWARK - The most romantic day of the year turned Newark's Municipal Court into an "assembly line of love."

Couples lined up for the chance to say "I do" this Valentine's Day, and to keep things moving along, about a third of the 100-member court staff did nothing but help couples tie the knot.

In all, 102 wedding ceremonies were performed today. Judge Dion Williams presided over more than a dozen of them.  When asked if today made Newark Courts a wedding factory, Judge Williams said, "We pumped out 102 weddings today, so I think it's safe to say that we did a really good job of performing a factory full of weddings today."

Typically, the court performs just 20 weddings a week. Today there was the added challenge of a delayed opening due to the weather.
