1 woman dead after Woodbridge house fire

WOODBRIDGE - A woman is dead after a fire ripped through her Woodbridge home overnight.

The fire broke out at around 1 a.m. in the Lee Avenue home. A neighbor told News 12 New Jersey that the fire began in one home and spread to the other.

Hopelawn Fire Department Chief Michael Walsh said firefighters faced heavy fire and smoke upon arrival.
