JACKSON - One person is dead after a fire broke out early Wednesday afternoon at Oak Tree Trailer Park in Jackson.

Firefighters say they found a firearm and suspicious looking device next to the body.

The bomb squad was called in to investigate the device, and confirmed that it was not explosive. A few trailers near the site of the fire were evacuated.

The body has been identified, but officials are not yet releasing the name of the victim.

Utility crews are still working to make sure the gas and electric lines have not been damaged.
