WILDWOOD, N.J. - (AP) -- One man is in custody and another is being sought after a southern New Jersey man was shot in the leg with a crossbow.

But it's not yet known what spurred the attack.

Cape May County prosecutors say 31-year-old Jonathan Moya of Wildwood is being sought on attempted murder and weapons charges. It's believed that he fired the shot that wounded the 35-year-old victim, who was found around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when Wildwood Police responded to reports of a man bleeding from his leg.

The arrow was still in the victim's left thigh when the officers arrived, but further details on the man's condition have not been disclosed.

Another Wildwood resident, 29-year-old Carlos Casanova-Rosario, is charged with hindering apprehension and obstruction. He's jailed on $12,500 cash bail.
