CLIFTON - (AP) - One man was killed and another arrested after a fast-moving fire damaged a northern New Jersey home.

Clifton officials say firefighters found the body shortly afterthey arrived at the home around 6 a.m. Saturday. They say the firestarted in the living room but was quickly contained.

Police soon took a man into custody at the scene and then tookhim to a nearby hospital for further examination. Authorities saidthe man and the victim were both in their late 40s, but theiridentities were not immediately released and no further detailswere disclosed.

A firefighter also was taken to the hospital with respiratoryproblems, but was expected to be released later Saturday.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
