1 man found dead after house fire in South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - A person was found dead after a house fire in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick.

The fire started around 3 p.m. Friday at the Wynwood Condominium Complex on Deerberry Lane. The fire was quickly extinguished, and firefighters discovered the body of a man in his 60s inside.

Neighbors say that the victim lived in the complex for at least 20 years.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the fire marshal are investigating how the fire started and how the man died.
