NEWARK - One man was killed in an early morning fire on Irving Street in Newark, according to fire officials.

Fire investigators are calling the fire suspicious and believe that it might be arson.

Police say the home where the fire broke out was in the final stages of foreclosure, and that the homeowner may have started the fire. However, they are unsure if the homeowner meant to kill himself in the fire.
