1 dead, 5 injured in shooting at club on MLK Jr. Boulevard in Trenton
TRENTON - Police say an early morning shooting at a converted after-hours club in Trenton left one person dead and five others injured.
The incident took place on the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just before 5 a.m. Saturday at an illegal speakeasy-type of club.
Police say a total of four people were shot after an argument broke out. The names of the victims have not been released, but the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says the man who died was 43 years old. A 30-year-old man is in critical condition and another man and woman are stable. Two women trying to run from the building suffered burns when grease spilled from a deep fryer.
