A fast moving fire in Newark on Wednesday destroyed three homes and left dozens homeless.
The fire broke out in the rear of a Tischnor Street home and quickly spread to the two neighboring houses. At least 90 firefighters spent more than an hour getting the flames under control.
One firefighter and three children suffered minor smoke inhalation. There were no other injuries.
Besides the three destroyed homes, three others will need repairs after firefighters used them to fight the flames. Meanwhile, the Red Cross is helping at least 30 people find temporary homes. There is no word on the cause of the blaze.
