New Jersey voters will have to decide on two public questions this Election Day.

Public question No. 1 concerns the New Jersey Construction Bond Act.

Officials at many public libraries in New Jersey say that they need more money for computers and other technology to keep libraries modern in the digital age. New Jersey voters will have to decide if the state will be allowed to sell $125 million in bonds to provide grants to libraries. 

Public question No. 2 concerns a constitutional amendment dedicating moneys from state environmental contamination cases. If passed, money obtained from settlements with polluters would have to be spent on environmental cleanup, and not to cover the state's other expenses.

If the questions are voted into law, they would take effect Jan. 1, 2018.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7. Polls close at 8 p.m.
