Despite the earlier forecasts, New Jersey was spared after the latest winter storm left at most a dusting in much of the state.
Many residents had stocked up on groceries and other supplies ahead of the storm, just in case.
However, after the snow stopped falling and the little that accumulated melted, many people got back on with their lives, albeit bundled up a bit more than usual since the temperatures had fallen markedly across the state.
