A New Jersey professional kickboxer is preparing for a big fight at Madison Square Garden.
Brandon Cuttino of Sayreville says that he fell in love with kickboxing and martial arts after watching Bruce Lee and Jean Claude Van Dam movies as a kid.
Cuttino will be competing in the Glory Kickboxing tournament in New York July 20. He says that he hopes that he can make the competition count.
“I’m a Jersey guy through and through. I’m not really a fan of New York, but Madison Square Garden, it is iconic. This is the arena you want to be in,” he says. “Glory is the biggest kickboxing promotion in the world. It’s the NFL, major leagues and I’m just glad and blessed I get to be a part of it.”
Cuttino has been fighting professionally for two years. He teaches martial arts as his day job.
