A 5K run was held in Roosevelt Park in Edison Saturday to benefit the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities.
Organizers say the event is a USA Track & Field grand prix course, and that Lakeview School is one of the programs the institute runs.
The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities serves over 1,500 children and adults with disabilities throughout the state.
Organizers say the event, in its 11th year, usually makes around $70,000 in fundraising.
