Valentine's day is right around the corner, and one South Jersey animal shelter is running a unique promotion.
Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center is offering a promotion to neuter your ex for Valentine's Day. The promotion is a part of the Blackwood shelter's trap-neuter-return program for feral cats.
For $50, the shelter says a feral cat can be named after your ex. The cat will be spayed or neutered before being released back to their colony.
The shelter posted a Valentine's Day card on Instagram with the message "because some things shouldn’t breed.”
They say full names will not be used. Only first names or nicknames will be accepted. For more information, email outreach@homewardboundnj.org.
