An MS-13 gang member was sentenced to 15 years Tuesday for attempted murder back in 2017.

Prosecutors say Miguel Urias Argueta and brothers Jose and Fidel Hernandez attacked a 19-year-old with knives, a machete and a gun in Westbury.

They say the victim was targeted for refusing to join the gang.

He managed to escape the attack with just a scratch along his torso.

The two brothers have also already been sentenced.
