Monmouth County celebrates Sheriff Youth Week
The 23rd Annual Monmouth County Sheriff Youth Week program is underway.
The program allows young people to explore interests in law enforcement through police academy-style training, drill and exercise programs and instructional sessions.
Recruits are taught by municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Over 160 students from 43 Monmouth County communities are involved. Sheriff Youth Week is free of charge and open to all Monmouth County residents of high school-age.
