In the millennial dating game, taboo topics such as money, politics and religion are no longer off the table.

Michelle Frankel, the chief love officer at New Jersey Matchmaking, says millennials will discuss anything on a first date.

In fact, a survey by bankrate.com finds out 35% of people between the ages of 23-38 wouldn't mind discussing money-related issues such as credit score and salary. Only 18 percent of the over-39 crowd agree with that practice.

Splitting the bill has also become more common with close to 40% of millennials agreeing it's no big deal.

Frankel says dating is very much like shopping online at Amazon. She says people should put away the checklists and get to know the person they are on a date with.
