A Newark man accused of brutally beating a Milburn woman during an alleged home invasion attack will go on trial this December.
Shawn Custis is accused of breaking into the home in 2013 and attacking the homeowner in front of her child. The attack was caught on the family's "nanny cam."
Custis, who has an extensive criminal history, is facing attempted murder charges.
