Memorial services are underway for a Plainfield firefighter who died in the line of duty.

Marques Hudson died last week while responding to a house fire on Emerson Avenue.

Hudson, a father of three, is being remembered for dedicating his life to the service and safety of his community.

Friday’s viewing took place at Plainfield High School. A second viewing will take place Saturday at the school from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. It will be followed by the funeral.
