(AP) - New Jersey's Agriculture Department says more schools around the state may have received tainted beef through the National School Lunch Program.

The department says nearly 90 additional districts got raw or cooked beef products that are included in the nation's biggest beef recall ever.

On Monday, state officials said about 168,000 pounds of suspect meat went to more than 170 public school districts and private schools in New Jersey. The meat, most of it likely eaten already, came from a California slaughterhouse that's been shut down.

On Wednesday, the state identified two more food processors that sent meat to other New Jersey schools. The additional schools are listed on the agriculture department's Web site.

No illnesses have been reported so far.
