Man killed by downed tree limb in Englewood

Officials say two men were cutting down a large tree limb in the backyard of a home on Curry Avenue.

A man was killed by a downed tree limb in Englewood Saturday morning.
Officials say two men were cutting down a large tree limb in the backyard of a home on Curry Avenue.
They say the tree limb snapped and knocked the victim off a ladder, pinning him underneath the limb.
The police and fire department were called to the scene and were able to remove him from under the tree.
Authorities say the other man was in shock, but had no life-threatening injuries.
