An investigation is underway after a man was found dead early Thursday morning at the NJ Transit bus terminal in Paterson, authorities said.

NJ Transit police told News 12 New Jersey that the man’s body was found around 2:30 a.m. at the Broadway Bus Terminal. Officials said surveillance video from a bus shows the man lying in the driveway before a bus entered the depot.

The scene was cleared around 4:30 a.m. and did not impact Thursday morning’s bus schedule.

There was no immediate word on the man’s name or his cause of death.

NJ Transit police and Paterson city police are leading the ongoing investigation.
