Man accused of threatening to blow up Milford police station, referencing ISIS

Police are searching for a suspect who they say wrote threatening messages toward law enforcement and referenced the Islamic State group.
The Milford Police Department says the man vandalized storefronts on River Street and hallways of an apartment complex in Milford with messages that read: "ISIS will kill cops."
Vanessa Naples, the owner of Alchemist Hair Lounge, says she found one of the threatening messages on her storefront on Sunday. It read, “Declare War against Police and "ISIS will blow up the Milford Police Station."
Police used surveillance video from businesses to help them identify a suspect. Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact Detective Rick Mahoney at 203-783-4727 or via email at rmahoney@milfordct.gov.
Officer Mike DeVito says police are taking “necessary precautions just to make sure that our building was safe."
