Friends and family of a Bethel woman found fatally shot last week in Bridgeport paid their respects Friday during her wake.
News 12 reported that Emily Todd, 25, was found dead Sunday morning near the boat launch ramp at Seaview and Newfield avenues in Bridgeport.
Todd graduated in 2011 from Bethel High School. She worked with dementia patients at St. John Paul the Second Center in Danbury.
A friend of the family told News 12 that he knew Todd since she was a little girl and watched her grow up to be a lovely woman.
Her funeral is set for Saturday morning at Bethel United Methodist Church.
