The lawyer for ex-WWE star Ashley Massaro has told CNN that her brain will be donated to science research.
Massaro, 39, was found dead in her Smithtown home last week. Police have not released a cause of death, but say it appears noncriminal.
Her lawyer says she wanted her brain donated for research of degenerative brain disease chronic traumatic encephalopathy, better known as CTE.
Massaro is one of 60 former pro wrestlers to sue WWE in 2016 claiming their time in the ring caused neurological injuries.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Massaro's daughter.
