Retired Fairview police chief Frank Del Vechhio is running 200 miles from High Point in Sussex County to Cape May to raise money for the Run for Hope organization.

Del Vechhio started the charity organization to raise money for different causes. For this run, he is raising funds to help with food insecurity.

“Let's fill up food pantries around the state,” he said.

Del Vechhio says he plans to complete the run on Sunday or Monday.
