Jersey Proud: Large family hiking together for months along Appalachian Trail

The Bettis family arrived in New Jersey a few days ago after crossing the Delaware water gap. Nikki Bettis – who had 15 children from her marriage – started the trail hike in March.
Thirteen of the 15 kids who accompanied Bettis covered 1,300 miles over five months. They have 800 miles left before the trail concludes.
