JERSEY CITY - School officials in Jersey City are investigating an apparent data breach in their district.

They want to know how a Sherman Avenue charter school got personal information about students.

The mathematics, engineering, technology and science charter school allegedly used the information to mail registration forms out to parents last month.

Attorneys for the school district are looking into the breach.
