An Ocean County high school marching band will participate in a major Thanksgiving Day parade.
The Jackson Memorial Jaguar Band will march and play at the parade in Philadelphia this year.
The band has performed all over the world and has played for Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush. The band has even performed in France.
"This parade is going to be very special to me because it's my last," says band director Bud McCormick. "The kids are really awesome this year. I'm going to miss them terribly and just enjoy them, because they're really good."
McCormick will be retiring at the end of this school year.
The band will be performing "I go to Rio" at 10:46 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
