According to the company, anyone who has never placed an Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market order must now first sign up for an invitation. This even includes Amazon Prime members.
The company says the feature will give customers a virtual place in line, and allow the company to give out delivery windows on a first come, first serve basis.
