Investigators say the driver of a livery cab was found dead inside his vehicle Wednesday evening with a gunshot wound to his head.

The body was discovered in a black Lincoln Town Car around 6:45 p.m. on Lake Drive.

Witnesses say they heard a crash when the vehicle slammed into a retaining wall, then struck a parked car.

According to neighbors, the engine of the Town Car was still running when they approached the scene.

It's not clear if the driver was working at the time of the shooting. No arrests have been made and the driver’s name has not yet been released.
