Police are questioning Friday the ex-husband of a woman found suffering from stab wounds in a Mahwah parking lot.
The manager of the Sheraton Crossroads Hotel, Kevin Wolford, says three hotel guests found Laura Matosek in the north parking lot at around 8:30 a.m. They say she was lying motionless with blood on her hands.
Police say Matosek?s ex-husband, 41-year-old Allan Pelcak, was found by police at a family member?s home in Haverstraw, N.Y. around 4 p.m.
The Bergen County Prosecutor?s Office says Matosek lives in Valley Cottage, N.Y. They believe she was in New Jersey because she works in Parsippany.
Matosek was taken to Hackensack University Hospital and is in critical condition.
