Some pretty incredible video is coming out of the Carolinas with Hurricane Florence barreling down on the states.

In one video, major flooding has gone up the steps of a home in Belhaven, North Carolina.

It also appears the power is out in the neighborhood.

The residents there are not only dealing with the storm surge and flooding, but no power as well.

In Topsail Beach, North Carolina, a BP gas station canopy collapsed from the strong wind

According to fuel-station finding app GasBuddy, about 52 percent of stations Thursday in Wilmington, North Carolina were out of gas.

In South Carolina, more than 200 animals are riding out Hurricane Florence at a pet sanctuary.

The Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary in Hollywood is housing 157 dogs and 51 cats through the storm.

The sanctuary says travel could be risky for some of the elderly, sick and previously abused animals.

Workers began securing the building Thursday to prepare for potential impacts from the hurricane.

Many businesses also reached out to help people who are helping those in need.

Bonefish Grill in North Charleston, South Carolina fed about 100 first responders Thursday to thank them for their service and for keeping the community safe during the hurricane.
